Mark Ando

Director, Business Development
With over 18 years experience, Mark Ando is highly versatile and creative Product Developer with experience designing, engineering and managing the development of products from concept through to production, across multiple market segments and production volumes, for startups to Fortune 500 companies. Mark is seasoned at working several simultaneous fast-paced, high-profile, and multi-disciplinary projects at all technology levels.

Prior to his work with Stratos, Mark was the President and Co-founder of Slipstream Design, Senior Mechanical Engineer for the Boeing Company and also served previously as Senior Mechanical Engineer for Stratos in the 1990’s. As Director of Business Development, Mark is responsible for strategic planning and tactical execution of marketing and sales initiatives to drive new client acquisition, existing client retention, and for the development of key vendor/supplier partnerships. Mark holds a B.A. in Mechanical Engineering and is also fluent in Japanese and German.
