Designed and built several investigational devices and supporting equipment for testing the effects of High Intensity Focused Ultrasound on tissue. These devices included servo-controlled xyz-positioning and both therapeutic and imaging ultrasonic transducers.
Supported ex-vivo and in-vivo testing of these devices on animal tissue and animals to help characterize the performance of the devices with respect to frequency, power, scan rates and the treatment procedures.
Supported Phase I clinical trials on humans for sealing catheter wounds using these investigational devices.
