Sportbrain Personal Fitness Device
Eliminated the need for a serial port connection to a PC by having users connect SportPort, the cradle, to a regular phone line. No software installation is required and information is automatically uploaded to the Web when the tracker is placed into the SportPort. Provided feedback to the user while uploading data through a bright LED, and in keeping with a simple design approach, batteries were used rather than an AC adapter.
