Managed an assortment of parties through the funding and contractual arrangements: Bonneville Power Administration and National Marine Fisheries Services who provided funding, Washington Department of Fish and Wildlife who contracted Northwest Marine Technology, who in turn, contracted with Stratos.
Stratos, though a subcontractor, drove the project, and was responsible for all of the Project Planning, System Design, Human Factors, Mechanical, Electrical and Software Engineering.
Dealt with the challenge of working with live fish. The large amount of invention and development that this project required needed to be tested within the constraints imposed by fish availability. To work around this we transported fish to Stratos in the early phases, and then transported the test bed and demo machine to multiple hatcheries around Western Washington.
