Drafted the Product Requirements Document (PRD), detailing the important features of the product, primarily from the users standpoint. As this was a new product made possible by recent technological advances, key authorship responsibility came from Engineering; input was also received from Business, Marketing and Sales.
The PRD and the system architecture co-evolved, as technological capabilities and limitations became apparent. Major considerations for the definition were: the competitive landscape, existing patents, technological limits, system cost, business agreements, technology licensing, development costs and development time.
