The device had to be small enough to be comfortable, wireless to allow for mobility and rugged enough to withstand industrial use. Fulfilled upon the design criteria and developed a flexible way to attach the CPU enclosure to a rechargeable battery pack and flexible cable connectors, so the entire configuration could be worn in a narrow, simple utility belt around the waist.
